Story Time: Kia and Collin

Westminster, CO

Kia + Collin first met with me at a local coffee shop. They were interviewing Realtors and we hit it off right away. We had fun talking about all things Colorado and they were SO excited to start the hunt for their first home.

One Saturday, they popped into an Open House in Arvada and decided that they wanted to offer on it! We went Under Contract and everyone was SO excited! The updates, the location - were all perfect. However, while we sat at the Open House and they really began to see the home for a second time and picture their life there, they had a massive change of heart. This house needed quite a bit more work than they remembered and they wanted out of the Contract. The whole process felt really overwhelming and they decided to take a bit to breathe and get back to basics first. Taking time to dig deep and understand what they really wanted in their first home and what was important and what wasn't as important.

Early in 2023, we found it! I like to say the home they ended up Buying was 'the other home's big sister'. It's a HOME. They have BIG plans for this house, including a kitchen remodel, taking out some walls but the end result? It's gonna be BEAUTIFUL and so, so worth the wait! They will have a wonderful story of their first home..one to tell the kids for years to come. Thanks for letting me be a part of the journey guys. It was SO fun getting to know you both!
